Friends of our family have launched new Smart ski goggles! Here's the news...
We built REKKIE because we wanted everyone to make the most of their day on the slopes. We couldn’t stand wasting valuable time on the mountain struggling to find our buddies. Cold hands trying to use a phone on a chairlift (don’t drop it!) wasn’t fun either. While trying to solve these problems, we found ourselves with goggles that made us say "WOAH" and catch a glimpse of what life might be like as Tony Stark.
We’ve likely talked your ear off about these goggles already, but to recap some of the features:
Heads-up display that keeps info within easy glancing distance while you ski or snowboard
Track distance and direction to your friends in real-time along a virtual compass
Read your text messages and other notifications
View/Answer/Hang up incoming phone calls
Play/Pause/Skip music
Track top speed and vertical feet for yourself and your friends
…and many more features to come! The goggles can update “over the air” similar to a Tesla and we have a bunch of exciting features we plan to roll out over the coming month
